Thanks to two program elements in Roundup Rewards, farmers receive added protection and reduced risk for their farming operation:
The Volunteer Roundup Ready® Corn 2 Cost-Share Allowance

The Volunteer Roundup Ready® Corn 2 Cost-Share Allowance allows farmers to receive up to $4.00 per acre when using Roundup WeatherMAX® and up to $3.00 per acre when using Roundup PowerMAX® toward Select Max® to control Volunteer Roundup Ready Corn 2 in in Genuity™ Roundup Ready 2 Yield®, Roundup Ready soybeans, Genuity Roundup Ready Flex cotton, Roundup Ready cotton and Genuity™ Roundup Ready Sugarbeets. Just use the proper Roundup Ready RATE™ of Harness® or Degree® brand herbicide followed by Roundup WeatherMAX or Roundup PowerMAX in your Roundup Ready Corn 2 to qualify for Roundup Rewards.
The START CLEAN, STAY CLEAN.™ Assurance Plan – For Roundup Ready® Corn 2 and Roundup Ready Soybeans

The START CLEAN, STAY CLEAN.™ Assurance Plan allows farmers to receive up to $7.00 per acre of Roundup WeatherMAX or up to $3.50 per acre of Roundup PowerMAX, if they have an unexpected flush of annual weeds that requires a second in-crop treatment of Roundup WeatherMAX® or Roundup PowerMAX® herbicide.
In the Roundup Ready Corn 2 System:
Simply follow the recommendation below and if a second in-crop treatment is needed to control a late flush of annual weeds in Roundup Ready Corn 2, apply a Roundup agricultural herbicide (Roundup WeatherMAX herbicide or Roundup PowerMAX herbicide) at a minimum of 22 ounces/acre of before weeds exceed 4 inches in height and you will receive:

Up to $7.00 /acre of Roundup WeatherMAX at no cost

Or up to $3.50 /acre of Roundup PowerMAX at no cost
Recommendation:

Purchase and plant Roundup Ready Corn 2 alone or combined with other Monsanto corn traits.

Follow the START CLEAN, STAY CLEAN.™ recommendation:

Start clean with a burndown herbicide or tilliage.

Residuals: Apply a Roundup agricultural herbicide2 at the Roundup Ready RATE™.

In-crop: Apply a Roundup agricultural corn herbicide at a minimum of 22 ounces/acre before weeds exceed 4 inches in height.

Report unsatisfactory weed control to your Monsanto Authorized Representative between 14 and 21 days after treatment.

Report unsatisfactory weed control to your Monsanto Authorized Representative between 14 and 21 days after treatment.

3 Monsanto recommended residual soybean herbicides include INTRRO®, Gangster®, Valor® and Valor® XLT. Valor, Valor XLT and Gangster must be applied between 21 days before planting and up to 3 days after planting to qualify for the START CLEAN, STAY CLEAN.™ Assurance Plan.
